Alice
Alice Church of God welcomes Pastor Stephen Harvey as their new pastor.
Anthony Wayne
"Christmas: A Shelter in Life's Storms" was the Christmas program presented by the Children and Youth on Sunday, December 23rd. Carols, Communion and a Candlelight Circle was attendy by 155 on Christmas Eve. We had 17 youth and a few adults for our annual Superbowl Party. In February the Youth held a Pancake Breakfast and raised $350 for camp this year! Thanks to all who supported the Pancake Breakfast. We were able to raise over $300! The Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday March 15th at 2PM for ages 3 through grade 5.
Ari
Observed a Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church on November 25th. The special offering was designated for the purchase of Children's Christmas packs and Village Outreach packs to be sent to China through The Voice of the Martyrs. A Christmas program was presented by the Ari Church of God Puppeteers on December 23rd. The Annual Congregational meeting was held on January 6th.
Blue Grass
Pastor Larry started at Blue Grass in February 1976! Special services were held all month long celebrating his 32 years at Blue Grass. One conversion was celebrated in February.

Bunker Hill
There was 1 baptism and 1 conversion reported in November. The Youth provided Christmas presents for one family and there was 1 baptism reported in December. The Christmas program was December 16th. The annual Congregational meeting was January 20th. Long time member Doris Marquis (91) passed away on January 26th.
Casey White Oak
The annual Congregational meeting was held on December 2nd. A Women's Expo is scheduled for Saturday April 26 from 8 AM to 1 PM.

Crossroads Community
Crossroads Community celebrates 19 NEW MEMBERS who were fellowshipped in January!! Work is being completed on their baptismal. Continue to pray as they decide to do renovation of the 3rd floor of their building.
East Harrison Street
Has started a food pantry for the needy and delivered several food baskets and gifts to families without at Christmas time. We welcomed Tony and Deb Hawkins and baby David into our congregation as members by statement of faith on December 2nd. A Spring Revival is May 18 - 21 with Evangelist Dr. Larry Faulkner from Decatur, Illinois and Music Evangelist Bill Allen from Katawa, Kentucky. We are pleased to announce we have hired Marcus Roach as our Associate Pastor, Minister of Youth and Children. Marcus and his wife Donna have 2 sons, Brent age 6 and Ezekiel age 3.

Celebrates one conversion, two baptisms and 23 NEW MEMBERS in February!
Hazel Dell
Our new youth/children's ministry group, started at the end of 2007, is growing and is involved in a missions project to held need families through sponsorship in World Vision program. A new young women's small group (20's and 30's) also started on the 3rd of February!
Idaville
With the help of Ron Pipke and Corey and Holly Egolf, three carloads of Idaville youth attended "Winter Jam" in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 7th. Following the concert, they joined the Oak Grove youth group, under the direction of Devin Reed, for an overnight at their fellowship hall. The next morning the kids ate breakfast at Bob Evans before the ride back to Idaville. A van full of ladies attended the Women's Ministry Retreat in Findlay, Ohio March 7-9. Fellowship Night on Wednesday evenings begins with supper 5:15 to 6:15 followed by Praise and Worship music, Youth meeting, and Adult Bible study. The Annual Easter Egg Hunt is March 22nd at 2:00 PM . A Rummage and Bake Sale will be April 4 and 5 sponsored by the Idaville COG Mission Team. 
Lodge
The Lodge church welcomes Pastor Jeremiah Gregory as their pastor.
Melrose
Our Christmas program was held in the evening on December 2nd. We had a snowstorm on the 16th and church was cancelled.

Moriah
Held their annual Congregational meeting on February 13th. They report that they have had one conversion each of the first three months of the year! A Spring Revival is scheduled for April 14 through April 18 at 7 PM.
Mound Chapel
The Youth group meets at the church on Sunday evenings at 6 PM. A Men's Breakfast at Cracker Barrel will be on March 15th at 7:30 AM, meeting regularly on the third Saturday of each month. The Mound Chapel Lunch Bunch will meet at Hometown Buffet on the 19th of March at 11:30 AM. Feetwashing and Communion service is March 20th. Pastor Jeff Spence encourages his congregation during the Lenten season to read through the devotional book "Why Pray" by John DeVries.

Mount Carroll
Four baptisms and 10 new members were celebrated the last few months of 2007! Is pleased to announce that Ron Abbott has been hired as an Associate Pastor. Ron's first day was January 8th.
Mount Pleasant
Mt Pleasant reports one conversion in December. "Christmas is Jesus" Cantata was presented December 19th and was well received by community churches and friends. A second presentation of the cantata served a nearly full sanctuary on December 30th. Mt Pleasant worked with area churches in preparing and delivering 41 Christmas boxes to the needy. The children's Christmas program was presented by the younger Sunday school youth groups on December 22nd. Mt Pleasant congregation voted to call Pastor Jack Wieland as Associate Pastor of Family and Youth Ministry. Pastor Jack, his wife Jill and their son Gabrielle moved from California in January to begin their ministry. They have a new website at www.mountpleasantchurchofgod.org. Mount Tabor
Continue to remember Pastor Stan Owen and the Mt Tabor Church as Pastor Stan is getting back on his feet from a recent back surgery!
Oak Grove
A Community Christmas Celebration services was held on Saturday, December 22nd at the newly-opened 4-plex movie theater in Columbia City. With a seating capacity of 200 the Saturday morning outreach service attendance was 170! Over 40 church volunteers welcomed the community to this new venue for fellowship. At least one person made a commitment to Christ during the morning. An Easter celebration is scheduled for March 22nd at 10 AM at the Bones Theater! The Youth attended "Winter Jam" and hosted the Idaville Youth for an overnight. Thanks to Devin Reed, volunteer youth leaders, and the Oak Grove youth for their hospitality!

Shiloh
Will have a traveling ministry team in July. They will be going to St. Louis, MO.
Silver Creek
Silver Creek hosted a New Year's Eve party featuring the Randy Travis movie "The Wager". There were 73 in attendance who enjoyed the movie, food, games and fun and 40 of those folks stayed to see in the New Year! There were 2 additional showings of the movie with 25 in attendance. Steve Schipper joined some of the Columbia City First Church people on a mission trip to Haiti. Financial Peace University (FPU) by Dave Ramsey started at Silver Creek on January 29th and continued for 13 weeks. There were 21 people registered for this class. Twenty six youth and leaders attended "Acquire the Fire" February 29 - March 1st. Beginning February 13 and continuing for 40 days we are entering into a commitment "You've Got The Time" which will entail listening to the New Testament for 28 minutes at day. At the end of the 40 days we will have listened to the entire New Testament. Two ladies attended the "Emmaus Walk" February 28 - March 2nd. Six ladies attended the Women's Ministry Retreat in Findlay, Ohio March 7-9. The movie "Facing the Giants" will be shown on March 15th. One conversion was reported in the month of February.

Sugar Grove
Reports 6 conversions at the end of 2007 and 3 conversions in January. Through the annual Christmas auction, we raised $3500 and helped 16 kids and 10 adults for Christmas. Sugar Grove also has a new website at www.sugargrovecog.com.

Urban Light Community
Urban Light now has a website, www.urbanlightmuncie.com
Walnut Grove
New Year's Eve service of Soup and Sandwiches was enjoyable. A neighbor church congregation attended and provided music and songs. Pastor Bill Moorman spoke in each worship service during January. The Walnut Grove church also helps supply meals for those not receiving Meals on Wheels on the weekend. They will have their annual Congregational meeting in April. Volunteers helped serve food for the Red Cross due to a tornado in Bloomfield. 
Winebrenner
Winebrenner welcomes Pastor Don Pankey as their pastor.
Willis Chapel
Remember Dan Ledley and Family in prayer as Dan's nephew Andy was killed in a car accident before Christmas. Dan and his wife were ill at New Years and his father Robert passed away on January 6th of cancer. Dan officiated the service on January 9th. He also started the year out by hitting a deer on January 10th, totaling his van.
Zanesville
Pastor Dick VanHorn is serving as Interim Pastor at the Zanesville Church. Pray for the church leaders and congregation as they seek a new pastor.
